I am a professional photographer and visual artist currently based in Berlin. My career began with a strong interest in Visual Arts, which led me to pick up my first camera at sixteen and pursue formal studies in Cinema. This background informs my approach to narrative, composition, and cinematic lighting. Originally born in Seville with Peruvian roots, I have since gained extensive experience traveling the world, applying a broad, cross-cultural perspective to my work. I handle a wide range of assignments across various genres of photography, leveraging my diverse background to deliver high-impact, professional visuals tailored to specific client needs.
WHY ME
My love for visual storytelling is what drives me to pursue it as a profession and as a means of connecting with others around the world. Over the years, my camera has allowed me to travel across many borders, immerse myself in different cultures and meet and photograph many different individuals.
I also speak five languages, which allows me to create a deeper connection to the places I visit than just being a 'tourist.' By communicating with others in their native language, I am able to break down cultural barriers and establish trust with my subjects, leading to moments that are authentic and intimate moments that could not have been created without my camera.
In my work, I have a great appreciation for the art of documentary-style storytelling. I strive to find a balance between capturing the raw emotion of a subject and a strong design and composition. Since the visual industry continues to evolve, I have made a commitment to lifelong learning and welcome new technologies and the developments within the industry as new opportunities to study, adjust and elevate my work. Regardless of whether
I am working in photography or videography, my primary goal is to create and tell strong, engaging stories that have universal appeal. Together we can create a story that will be remembered.
